The quest for the crown…or diamond.

You've seen them before. The members of Stardoll that are placed on a pedestal above the rest of us, yet still walk amoung us. The ones with one thing always with them, always their compainion: a diamond. Face it, we all consider Royalty Members somewhat elite. If you demied it, you'd be lieing. But really, what's the appeal?
I've been royalty before. It isn't any different than being a normal superstar, except you get into an exclusive club that isn't all that great. I remember getting really excited and thinking royalty members were actually hand-picked for their hard work and orginality before I found out it was just because I had been Superstar for a year. I hadn't minded at the time, but now I really do. I don't really want to be royalty now. I wouldn't mind it, but I wouldn't make a point of staying superstar for a year just for the diamond.
Before you envy the diamond, the mark of royalty, to much, consider this: all Stardoll wants is your money. It's yet another bribe to pick your pockets and a complete rip-off.

Young Hollywood Inspired

So, Smallflame asked for this, so here you go. :) I really like the Young Hollywood store. It's bright, its flashy, it's colorful-great for summer. I got a tank top from there. I decided to do a flashy runway-ish makeup look with colorful eyes and nude lips, but the eyes didn't end up flashy enough, so I used my favorite Luxe lipstick.

Start out with black eyeliner on your upper lash line and French Vanilla on your waterline. I put lengthening and volumizing mascara on, as always. Use Summer Pear Eyeshadow as a base. I put Tigerlily on the outer corner, Golden Sunset on the middle, and Orchid Bloom in the inner corner. Put French Vanilla eyepencil on your lower waterline. I tried to add just a touch of Bermuda shadestick on the bottom, but it doesn't really show up. Add Cashmere Rose blush around your eyes and Pink Lavender blush on your cheekbones. Add Hot Pink Glitter Lipstick and lip gloss for the lips.

Are people really that desperate?

Have you seen the parties open for everyone recently? I'll save you the troble of going and looking by telling you what you'll see.
-Sex (lez and bi only)
-Meet your match
-One Night Stand-boys come and get me (I learned new moves. ;))
-Hot guys come! Girls will be kicked out! I'm single!
-I'm hot and single
-Hey boys I'm single
Dating and having sex on Stardoll? Really? Now, first off, I do not have any problems with people that are gay, lezbian, or bi. Love is love, no matter what gender you are. But why would you want to have sex with anyone on Stardoll? You wouldn't feel it, so you wouldn't get any pleasure out of it. IT'S POINTLESS, not to mention gross and against the rules. You could ignore it, I suppose, but if you like parties, then its hard to because some times its literally almost every party thats dating or sex related.
And dating on Stardoll...where do I start? For one, you never know whose on the other side of the screen. You could be dating some old man looking for some entertainment. Just think about it.

New 'Young Hollywood' store review!

So today we were sent a flashy ad for a new store called 'Young Hollywood':

I personally think it's far better then the ads we usually get, but I'm suposed to be reviewing the store - not the ads :')

I know this is supposed to be a somewhat of a hate blog *points to blog name* but I have nothing bad to say about this store - well, almost nothing.

WHY ISN'T THAT MANNEQUIN ON THE THIRD PICTURE WEARING PANTS? :')

But other than that, it's a sleek, sexy clothing line that I personally LOVE and would make good LE.

I don't understand why it isn't selling faster :)
